Our LEGACY

Sculptures in the Garden has made such a contribution to our appreciation of the art of sculpture. It is no longer the poor cousin in the story of Australian art, but a lively thriving centrepiece.
— Edmund Capon AM OBE, former Director of the Art Gallery of NSW

In partnership with the Mid-Western Regional Council, Sculptures in the Garden has contributed public art works to the value of over $375,000 to establish a permanent public sculpture walk in Mudgee's Lawson Park along the banks of the Cudgegong River.

Public artworks now extend to the grounds of the Mudgee Hospital and the nearby townships of Rylstone and Gulgong.

In 2025 the tenth sculpture funded solely by Friends of Sculptures in the Garden will be added to the Mudgee Park Sculpture Walk.
