SUNDAY SESSION with ANNABELLE HICKSON at SIG

Amber Norton-Knight September 4, 2019

After the success of last year’s author talk with Wendy Whiteley and Janet Hawley, Sculptures in the Garden is excited to announce that at 11am on the Sunday of this year’s event, author and photographer, Annabelle Hickson will be hosting a talk about her new book, ‘A Tree in The House’ and signing copies on the day.

‘A Tree in the House’ is a stunning ode – in words and pictures - to flower arranging. Part guide for the aspiring home florist, part celebration of a rural life in sync with nature, it celebrates the joy that flowers bring to our every day lives. Annabelle celebrates the simple, natural beauty that flowers bring to the home, with a focus on foraged and locally and seasonally grown plants. Interspersed throughout her book are gorgeous snapshots of Annabelle’s picturesque rural life making A Tree in the House as much an aspirational window into rural life, as an inspirational guide to creating beautiful, simple arrangements.
