Hello to our wonderful Artist Community,
We wanted to check in with you all to see how you’re faring during this incredibly difficult time and to assure you that the Sculptures in the Garden Committee are still forging ahead for 2020 in preparation for our milestone 10th anniversary event. I think we can all agree that during these challenging times, we need, more than ever before, something to look forward too and so we are hoping that SIG 2020 can be the light at the end of the tunnel for us all. Although ultimately the decision on whether the event will be able to proceed will be that of the Government, we are forging ahead with the assumption that come October restrictions will be lifted and the show can go on.

Sculpture and art can be such a fantastic distraction for both the creator and its audiences and we hope this has been the case for you over these past few months. I trust you have been able to find an abundance of new and recent inspiration to dedicate to your work and we are hoping you will be able to share that work with us for SIG 2020 (10th and 11th October 2020) and that you can join us in Mudgee for the celebration.

In the meantime, we’d love to start a bit of an online showcase of work that is being developed for this year’s event. If you’re uploading any videos or images of your works in progress, please be sure to tag Sculptures in the Garden @sculpturesinthegarden so we can share your work across our channels and get everyone excited for what’s to come.
If you have any questions or need any help in the lead up to this year’s event, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We will also continue to keep you updated with any developments on this year’s event as they occur.
Our thoughts are with you and your families at this time and we hope you are staying safe and well during this uncertainty.
With warm regards,
Kay Norton-Knight
